Cristallo Forever Crib with Fabric Panel

Drove an hour to the North York showroom and it was worth it. You can tell pretty fast this thing is built right. The frame is solid, the joints are tight, and the side fasteners are small enough that they do not bother me. My wife liked the finish more in person than in the photos. We set it up in the nursery and it sits dead square on the floor, no rocking at all. For a crib, that matters.

I was worried this crib would overpower our nursery because the room is not big, but the proportions are actually really nice. It sits well with our dresser and glider and still leaves enough walking space. The fabric panel also softens the look a lot, so the room feels calm instead of crowded.

We bought this after comparing it to a few higher-end options from Pottery Barn and Stokke, and the value was better than I expected. It definitely feels like a real piece of furniture, not something flimsy. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is that the style is a little more feminine/traditional in person than it looked online, so it may not work for every nursery.

The crib is heavier than I expected, in a good way. Once assembled, there is basically no wobble at all. The joints line up properly and the hardware is decent quality. I also like that the painted finish looks consistent around the frame and the fabric panel is installed cleanly.

I spent a lot of time looking at materials and safety details, so this crib stood out to me. There was no strong chemical smell when we unboxed it, which honestly mattered a lot to me. It feels very sturdy and the upholstered panel is nicely done, not scratchy or cheap looking.
