Shipping policy

Baby & Kids Furniture Warehouse offers Canada-wide shipping on most products. This Shipping Policy outlines delivery methods, timeframes, costs, and your responsibilities upon receipt of your order.

1. Shipping Coverage

We ship to all provinces across Canada. Shipping availability and rates vary by product type, size, and destination.

We are unable to ship to select remote and northern regions, including the Northwest Territories and certain rural areas where freight carrier access is limited. If your delivery address falls within an excluded area, we will notify you after your order is placed and arrange an alternative solution or refund.

Some oversized furniture items may only be available for local GTA delivery or showroom pick-up — this will be indicated on the product page.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

3. Order Processing & Delivery Timeframes

Order processing

  • Order cut-off time:Ā Orders placed before 3:00 PM EST are processed the same business day
  • Processing time:Ā Orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days if all items are in stock
  • Fulfilment days:Ā Monday to Friday only

Delivery timeframes below begin after your order has shipped. Processing time (3–5 business days) is in addition to transit time.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.Ā Baby & Kids Furniture Warehouse is not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather events, peak shipping periods, or circumstances beyond our control.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping rates vary by province and are calculated at checkout based on your order weight, dimensions, and delivery address. Some rural areas may incur additional surcharges where freight carrier access is limited — we will notify you if extra charges apply before processing your order.

Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched. If a delivery attempt is missed and the carrier returns the item to us, re-delivery fees may apply.

5. Your Responsibility Upon Delivery

Please follow these steps when your order arrives:

  • Inspect all packages for visible damage before signing the carrier's delivery receipt
  • If damage is visible, note it on the delivery receipt and refuse the delivery, or accept with clear notation of damage
  • Photograph any damage immediately before unpacking
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at Info@babywarehouse.ca with your order number and photos of any damage
  • Do not assemble or use a damaged item before contacting us — this may void your claim

Failure to note damage on the carrier's delivery receipt significantly reduces your ability to file a successful damage claim. Baby & Kids Furniture Warehouse will assist in coordinating carrier claims, but is not liable for damage caused by the carrier during transit.

6. Undeliverable Packages

If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address, multiple failed delivery attempts, or refusal to accept the package (other than for damage), you will be responsible for re-shipping fees. We will contact you to arrange re-delivery or arrange a refund minus the original shipping cost and any return freight charges incurred.

7. Pick-Up Orders

If you choose in-store pick-up, your order will be held at our Toronto showroom for 14 days from the date of notification. Orders not collected within 14 days may be restocked and a store credit issued. Please bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID when picking up your order.
