Refund policy
This Return & Exchange Policy applies to all purchases made at our Toronto showroom and through babywarehouse.ca. Please read this policy carefully before making your purchase. All statutory rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 are preserved and cannot be waived.
1. Your Statutory Cancellation Rights ā Online Orders
To exercise your cancellation right, contact us within 7 calendar days of receiving your order confirmation:

If you have been charged and the goods have not yet been delivered, we will issue a full refund within 15 days of receiving your cancellation request.
2. Standard Returns & Exchanges ā Stock Items
You have 7 days to return unused stock items in original condition with receipt and original packaging for an exchange or credit note.
- Upon receiving your return, we will inspect the item to make sure it is in resellable condition before issuing a credit note or an exchange. If for any reason the item is not returned in its original condition and packaging or is no longer resellable, the item will not be accepted for an exchange or credit.
- No refunds or exchanges will be permitted without a receipt or gift receipt. For in-store purchases as well as online orders being returned to a store location, a copy of your receipt or gift receipt is required in order to process your return.
- Exchanges are processed as a new order. We will credit the value of the returned merchandise and charge you for the new order.
- After 7 days, items cannot be returned and are a final sale. We pride ourselves in maintaining high quality standards and cannot take back items that have been used, damaged, or are not clean.
All shipping fees incurred when sending the order out are non-refundable and all returns are done at the customer's expense.
3. Final Sale Items ā No Returns or Exchanges
All clearance and floor model items areĀ FINAL SALE.
For safety and health reasons, some products are final sale. These products include, but are not limited to:
- Breast pumps and accessories
- Bath tubs and bathing accessories
- Special orders and pre-order items
- Mattresses and mattress covers
- Furniture
All items labelled in our clearance area are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for store credit.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
Damaged on delivery
If your order arrives damaged:
- Note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt at the time of delivery ā this is essential for any carrier claim
- Photograph the damage before unpacking or assembling the item
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at Info@babywarehouse.ca with photos and your order number
- Do not assemble or use a damaged item before contacting us ā doing so may void your ability to claim a replacement
Defective items
If a product develops a defect within the manufacturer's warranty period:
- Contact us at Info@babywarehouse.ca or call 416-288-9167 with your order number and a description of the defect
- It is entirely the customer's responsibility to bring back the purchased item under warranty which needs to be repaired or replaced
- Baby & Kids Furniture Warehouse will not be held responsible in any way for any costs incurred in getting the product back to the store
5. Special Orders
All special order and furniture items are final sales and cannot be cancelled. Special orders are items that we do not have in our inventory and have an estimated order lead time. Once the items have been paid and ordered, they cannot be returned and are a final sale.
You will be informed of the estimated order time for your items prior to completing the special order. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. Please note that estimates are given based on information given by the supplier; Baby & Kids Furniture Warehouse is not responsible for supplier delays or back orders. As soon as the order arrives in store you will be contacted by either telephone or by email.
6. Payments & Refunds
Full payment must be made prior to delivery or pick-up of your order. Only e-transfers and in-store payments are accepted.
Accepted payment methods:
- Online orders:Ā E-transfer to Info@babywarehouse.ca
- In-store:Ā Visa, Mastercard, Debit, Cash
Refunds are issued in the original form of payment (e-transfer refund for e-transfer purchases; card refunds for card purchases). Cash refunds are issued in-store. Store credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
7. Warranty
Most products sold by Baby & Kids Furniture Warehouse are covered by manufacturer warranties. The specific warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer. Warranty documentation is included with your product or available on request.
It is entirely the customer's responsibility to bring back the purchased item under warranty which needs to be repaired or replaced. Baby & Kids Furniture Warehouse will not be held responsible in any way for any costs incurred in getting the product back to the store.
