Bayment by Best Chairs

I was worried this would overwhelm our nursery/guest room, but it actually fits the space very nicely. We measured everything twice because our apartment rooms are not huge. The chair-and-a-half size gives us more room than a regular chair, but it still leaves a clear walkway and does not crowd the crib area. That was the main reason I chose it. It made the whole room feel finished without making it feel smaller.

I inspected this pretty closely when it arrived. The legs are mounted securely, the joints are tight, and the sleeper mechanism operates smoothly without any grinding or alignment issues. The fabric weave is consistent across the arms and seat, which I appreciate because it usually tells you whether the manufacturing was controlled. It is a heavy piece, in a good way. Once placed, it does not shift or wobble.

After buying nursery furniture the first time from a premium brand, I was honestly expecting this to feel like a downgrade. It didn’t. The Bayment has that tailored look I wanted, but without the markup, and the upholstery reads more expensive than the price tag. We ordered it for our second baby and ended up using it daily in the playroom too. For the money, it is excellent.

Good sleeper for our basement guest room. Andriy said the frame is heavy and sturdy, not flimsy. We have a 3-year-old who climbs everything, so that matters more to me than fancy look. Only thing is it took a bit of wrestling to move upstairs, but once in place it is fine.

We bought this for our family room because I was quite cautious about upholstered furniture and VOCs. It arrived with no chemical smell, which honestly was the first thing I checked. The fabric feels substantial, not thin, and the cream tone is softer in person than on my screen. I also liked that the pillows were included and the legs have a proper finished look. It feels like a well-made piece, not something temporary.
