Serena Triple Power Swivel Glider Recliner

Love this chair. I'm 5'2" and a lot of gliders feel too deep for me, but this one actually fits my body well and my feet can rest without me sliding forward. The swivel is smooth and the recline is easy to use one handed, which matters a lot at 2 a.m. with a baby. Also, no weird squeaks so far.

I read the instructions before touching anything, as usual. The base, motor and control panel all feel properly engineered, not loose or sloppy. No wobble in the swivel and the recline motion is consistent on both sides. The fabric seams are straight too, which sounds minor but usually tells you a lot. For nursery furniture, this is built right.

After three months of research, I was most concerned about off-gassing and whether the upholstery would feel safe for a nursery. This arrived with no chemical smell when we unboxed it, which immediately made me feel better. The woven fabric has a nice texture, and the controls on the side are integrated neatly rather than looking bulky. It is also quieter than I expected. We have been using it every evening, and it has felt like a thoughtful purchase rather than a trendy one.

We bought this after looking at a few gliders at Pottery Barn and west elm. This one feels more substantial than the cheaper options, and the swivel/recline combo is exactly what I wanted for cluster-feeding and contact naps. The only reason I did four stars instead of five is the price — it is definitely an investment. Still, for the quality, I think it was the right call for our second baby.

I ordered online and was honestly nervous because I never saw it in person. The colour is exactly that soft sand/beige tone from the pictures, not yellowish or darker like some online furniture can be. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The size was also accurate, which mattered because I had measured my nursery twice. Very relieved this one worked out.
