Kerrigan Bookcase Hutch

I ordered the Cafe au Lait finish and it is lovely, warm without looking orange. The proportions are nice and the curved pulls give it a softer vintage feel. One small note: the colour leans a touch darker in our room than on my screen, but not in a bad way. It still works beautifully with the rest of the Kerrigan pieces.

We saw the Kerrigan pieces in the showroom and I’m glad we did, because the hutch has more presence than I expected. The proportions work really nicely over the dresser base, and the moulding detail gives it that traditional look without feeling heavy. I also liked that the finish was consistent in person — no weird colour shift between the upper piece and the base. For what we paid during the sale, it felt much closer to a premium nursery set than the price tag suggested.

We bought this for our second baby and I like that it is sturdy and not fussy. Andriy put it together with the dresser base and it stayed solid, no wobble. I do not care much for fancy nursery things, but this one looks good and should survive toddler years. Good value for the money.

We bought this for our third baby and it already feels like something that will stay in the family. My sister saw it and said she wants the same one for her next nursery. It is strong, simple, and the drawers open smoothly. That is enough for me.

I ordered online and did not see it in person, so I was nervous. The colour and shape matched the pictures pretty well, which was a relief. It arrived packed well and nothing was chipped. Only reason for 4 stars is the delivery took a bit longer than I hoped, but the actual piece is lovely.
