Glendale 5 Drawer Chest

We needed something that would not overwhelm a smaller nursery in Rexdale, and this chest fit the space better than I expected. It sits nicely beside the crib without making the room feel crowded. The proportions are good, and it still gives us enough storage for baby clothes and blankets. I was relieved it did not look bulky in person.

I bought this chest after already getting the Glendale crib, and the finish match is excellent. The white is the same tone, not slightly cream or slightly cool, which happens more often than people think. The proportions are also nice; it reads as a proper furniture piece rather than something oversized for a nursery. I appreciate that the hardware is understated too. It looks cohesive in the room without trying too hard.

Drove down from Barrie to look at this, and it was worth it. This chest has real weight to it, not that flimsy stuff that flexes when you move it. Joints are tight, drawers track straight, and the whole thing sits flat on the floor. For a nursery chest, that is exactly what I wanted.
