Cristallo Crib in Vintage White finish with White vinyl headboard

After months of reading about nursery finishes and VOCs, this was the one I felt comfortable bringing home. There was no strong chemical smell when we opened the box, which mattered a lot to me. The white vinyl panel also wipes clean easily, which is useful already. It looks lovely, but honestly I bought it mostly because it felt safe and solid.

I went over the crib before and after assembly like I always do. The frame is heavy, the joints line up well, and there is no side-to-side wobble at all. Hardware was decent, instructions were clear, and the finish was consistent across all the visible surfaces. It feels like a piece of furniture, not something that will loosen up in a year.

We looked at Pottery Barn, West Elm, and a few local stores before this one. The Cristallo is really pretty in person and the vintage white is softer than the photos made it seem. I do think the price is a bit high for a crib only, so that is why I am not giving five stars. Still, the quality looked better than a lot of the options we saw in Oakville.

We had to be careful with space because the nursery is not big, and this crib fit exactly where I measured for it. The proportions are nice, so it does not make the room feel crowded. I liked that the headboard detail gave it a more finished look without taking extra visual space. For a city nursery, that matters.

I ordered online and was nervous about getting something that looked different in real life. But it showed up exactly like the photos, same colour, same style, no surprises. Packaging was good too, nothing scratched or dented. It was one of those rare online furniture buys that actually feels easy.
